Firstly, two weeks is not a stall. Second, most of the weight you lost on your first week is water and your losses should slow down after that. If you’re still not losing, double check what you’re doing. Have you recalculated your macros and calories since you last lost weight? Are you tracking everything (including the tbsp of oil or 5 extra almonds)? Are there any hidden carbs you didn’t take into account (spices, onions, garlic etc)? Some people stall on things like dairy and artificial sweeteners so try cutting them out and see if anything changes.
Dinner, again, will be pretty simplistic. Meats, vegetables, high fat dressings are the center of our life. Maybe even a slathering of butter on our vegetables since we’re getting friskier. Don’t over think things in the first 2 weeks; simple is success.

I apologize for posting again so soon after my last before and after only 2 lbs ago, but I just hit the amount lost equivalent to my 5 year old, and since I posted a photo of me with my 3 year old when I hit that goal, I figured I should post this one to keep it up! A photo holding both of them will be coming in another 35 lbs!
Finally are there any strategies you can recommend for someone like myself who deals with chronic sleep debt via jet lag and night work schedules that I can further address with supplements and/or a Keto lifestyle. I also do IF but am a little stumped as to how to proceed when I’m dealing in multiple time zones.

thank you Dr. Jockers for the informative article. I have hypothyroidism from 3 parathyroid cysts being removed along with 80% of my thyroid. It is under control with Levothyroxine and liathyronine. I have been on the keto diet for almost 4 weeks and am still experiencing heart palpatations, dizzyness and low energy. I have been quite strict and feel disappointed. I have Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and my oncologist was ok with me going on it. I feel like this diet would help me have more energy and help my overall health. I was making my own bone broth and drinking a cup of it every day. I was also putting collagen in my Bullet Proof coffee AND I was putting gelatin in a smoothie every day. A little is good…too much can cause lots of problems! I had MAJOR brain fog. WHAT?!!!! That’s one of the reasons I was talking all of that. To heal the leaky gut so I wouldn’t have leaky brain! I really like this made with matcha green tea in the morning. It took me a few months to grow to like it as much as my morning coffee, but now I look forward to it each morning. I think there are lots of nutrient benefits to matcha green tea, but not the same ones as with the coffee. I guess it depends on what you’re going for. I did make buttered tea a couple times with an herbal tea in the afternoon when I wanted to eat everything in sight. The fat in it totally worked to stop my cravings, but it just doesn’t taste that great with herbal tea. I would only do that when I’m desperate.
